This 2008 conference will be held in Kingston, New York on October 2, 2008. It will feature noted experts from the field of brain injury rehabilitation presenting sessions highlighting traditional and non-traditional treatment modalities. The conference focus is on assisting individuals with brain injury to continue their recovery over the long-term.

The full day event includes presentations from our Collaborative Research Teams, a lunchtime BCRRHRN Annual General Meeting, and many opportunities for networking and engagement. The day will conclude with an evening networking reception. Registration for this event is free for all BCRRHN members.

Conference Information:
- Conference workshops will be oriented to Interior Health staff and/or Aboriginal community throughout the two days.  
- This event is an opportunity to participate in Aboriginal health workshops which focus on a variety of health related issues.
- Listen to Keynote addresses from experts on Aboriginal Health issues, including:

                           Dr. Evan Adams, Aboriginal Physician Advisor to the Office of the Premier Ministry of Health, First Nations Leadership Council.  
·                            Dr. Rosalin Hanna, Executive Director for Aboriginal Women’s Health and Healing Research Group.
- Network with other Aboriginal Health workers and Interior Health staff.  
- The Aboriginal Health Team will be releasing their 2008 Progress Report at this event.
