Temporary Part-time Chronic Condition Self-Management Research Coordinator
A Research Coordinator (4-5 months, 20-25 hours/week) is immediately required at the BC Centre of Excellence for Women's Health (Vancouver) to help develop grant proposals, manuscripts, and literature reviews; coordinate the development of a website; and develop/implement an international review process for a document on the self-management of chronic conditions. The position is well-suited to a PhD student or Master's level graduate with solid writing experience (literature reviews, grants, and publications), good organization skills, and preferably some knowledge of the fields of chronic disease, self-management interventions, health policy, women's health and/or health equity. DHRN Director of Programs
The Director of Programs is a proactive and creative individual who is in charge of ensuring that the administrative, creative and outreach functions of the BC Disabilities Health Research Network (DHRN), a provincial research network funded by the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, operate in an efficient manner. Reporting to the DHRN Co-Leaders and Advisory Committee the Director of Programs plays a key role in the day-to-day management of the DHRN, including supervision of DHRN staff, interns, student employees and external consultants. The position has a broad range of responsibilities, including managing the day-to-day liaison, development and outreach operations of the DHRN and its members.
