Disability Health Area of Focus:

I am interested in how people living with chronic illness or disability engage in everyday activities. This includes studies of participation in paid and unpaid work (specifically parenting), social roles, role balance, and how performance in meaningful activities or occupations influences health status. My particular area of focus has been collaborating with people living with arthritis; some studies have focused on experiences of other populations, including older adults, adults with spinal cord injuries and screening infants for neuromotor delays.

Area of Expertise
